Arte del Corazón at St. John’s College
A Valentine Weekend event to celebrate the heart and soul of local award- winning Spanish Artists

St. John’s College Art & Book Auction and Spanish Artists’ Market
Friday, February 13, 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Peterson Student Center

Continuing a 14-year tradition, St. John’s College is proud to feature the work of award-winning Spanish artists at its annual Art & Book Auction and Spanish Artists’ Market. The event showcases the heritage and art of the Hispanic culture in the southwest. Auction pieces will be available for preview in late January online at www.stjohnscollege.edu, and will be on display in the Meem Library from Friday, February 6, until noon on Friday, February 13.

Spanish Artists’ Market
Saturday, February 14, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Great Hall, Peterson Student Center

The annual market showcases art forms unique to New Mexico and will include bultos, jewelry, retablos, metal work, woodcarving, ceramics, straw appliqué and weaving. Artists will also display their non-traditional works of art.

The weekend events are free and open to the public.
