St. John’s College has revitalized its Spanish Colonial Artists Market, featuring the work of nearly 30 of New Mexico’s finest, award-winning artists.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day gift shopping, the Market will offer bultos, colchas, straw appliqué, retablos, weavings, woodcarvings, and other traditional work. Many of the featured artists also will demonstrate their craft at their books.

Historian Orlando Romero will present a lecture starting at 10:30 a.m., and impromptu music will be provided by Carlos and Vickie Otero. A sale of coffee-table art books benefits St. John’s College’s library.
