2010 Ariel Internship Awards
In 2005 St. John’s College established ARIEL (Award for Relating your Intense SJC Education to Life,) a summer internship stipend program open to currently-enrolled undergraduates at the Santa Fe campus. (The Annapolis campus has a similar program funded by the Hodson Trust.)
In today’s competitive environment, internships have become essential experiences for college students. The ARIEL program is designed to encourage and enable undergraduates to participate in summer internships that are related to their career interest, without having to worry about also having a summer job.
Thirty eight students applied for Ariel funds this year. Twenty six stipends, ranging from $1,000-$4,000 were awarded. Please join us in congratulating the following students:
