During an annual Staff Appreciation Luncheon held on March 17, 2010, St. John’s College President Christopher Nelson honored staff who have served the college for a decade, as well as those who went “above and beyond” during the winter’s blizzards. “Our students missed only two days of classes,” said Nelson as he thanked dozens of staff members for their extraordinary efforts. Many remained on campus during the February blizzards to ensure that the grounds were cleared for the safety of students and staff. Nelson also warmly welcomed new staff members to the college community and congratulated those who have served the college with great energy and dedication for many years.
