Samuel Kutler, tutor emeritus, will give a lecture at St. John’s College on “Poetry and Mathematics.” The lecture is free and open to the public and will be held in the Francis Scott Key Auditorium on Friday, October 2, at 8:15 p.m.
In his lecture, Mr. Kutler says he will “attempt to say what poetry and mathematics really are. The lecture is, in part, a constructive criticism of the book ‘Poetry and Mathematics’ by Scott Buchanan.”
Mr. Kutler, a tutor emeritus at St. John’s, joined the college in 1961.
