St. John's College Concert Series Presents Acclaimed Classical Pianist

In an upcoming concert at St. John's College, acclaimed pianist Cecile Licad will perform classical works including Chopin's "Ballades" and Scriabin's "Sonatas" and "Etudes." The concert, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Friday, February 13, in Francis Scott Key Auditorium, at 8:15 pm.
Called a "pianist's pianist" by The New Yorker, Cecile Licad's artistry is a blend of daring musical instinct and the superb training. She studied at the Curtis Institute of Music with Rudolf Serkin, Seymour Lipkin and Mieczyslaw Horszowski.
