Lecture on “Loïs Mailou Jones” Exhibition at St. John’s College’s Mitchell Gallery

Lucinda Edinberg, art educator at St John’s College’s Mitchell Gallery, will discuss the exhibition “Loïs Mailou Jones: A Life in Vibrant Color” at St. John’s College. Ms. Edinberg’s lecture will offer insight into the more than 50 contemporary paintings, drawings, and textile designs in this exhibit as well as Jones’s life as a reflective, sensitive artist who worked through some of the most influential social movements of the 20th century. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Mitchell Gallery on January 25 at 7 p.m.
