Business Friends Seminar  at St. John’s College Explores the Spirit of the Law

The  annual Business Friends Seminar series at St. John’s College explores the spirit of the law.  Local and regional community and business leaders will gather to explore the principles of lawmaking and how our country’s founding documents balance the goals of business with the goals of society.

Each seminar will be led by a St. John’s College tutor. The second seminar will be followed by dinner at the home of St. John’s president Chris Nelson. Registration for each seminar costs $195.

Seminar Schedule:
Session 1   November 10, 7:30 a.m.    Rousseau, Social Contract, Book 1, Chapters 1-9 and The Declaration of Independence.

Session 2   November 17, 4 p.m. The Articles of Confederation and the US Constitution
