If your New Year’s resolution includes expressing your creative side, consider enrolling in a fine arts class through St. John’s College’s Continuing Education and Fine Arts Program. These programs, scheduled on weekday evenings or weekend mornings, are held on the Annapolis campus and are open to the public. Spring fine arts classes begin February 12 and the registration deadline is two weeks before the start of each class. Tuition for fine arts workshops is $185.

Students of all ages, from college undergraduates to retirees, develop their skills in these workshops under the direction of accomplished instructors. Writers can explore their craft this spring in classes and workshops on poetry, dialogue, fiction, travel writing, food-inspired personal essays, and publishing. Among the visual art offerings are stone carving, life drawing, and pottery with Raku firing.

For complete descriptions of all the program offerings, instructor biographies, or to register, contact Molly Burnett at 410-626-2881 or molly.burnett@sjca.edu, or visit the CEFA page.
