Sarah Stites, Class of 2010, skipped her senior year of high school to enroll in St. John's. “There was always a right or wrong answer in high school. I felt stifled.” A devotee of the performing arts, Sarah had considered attending a conservatory, but was drawn instead to the books and discussion-based program at St. John's. “I love theater, singing, and the performing arts, but I didn't want to pigeonhole myself as a theater grad. I have had opportunities here at St. John's that I wouldn't have gotten if I went to conservatory. I'm directing productions for the college's theater troupe, The King William players.”
