Campus Transfer Information
Campus Transfer
If applying for transfer between the Annapolis and Santa Fe campuses, please follow the following steps in addition to completing your transfer application. To be eligible to transfer, both the CSS Profile and FAFSA must be completed by March 1.
Step 1 – Complete CSS Profile, listing your current campus
File the CSS Profile Application at http://profileonline.collegeboard.com/. The CSS code for Annapolis is 5598 and Santa Fe is 4737.
If your parents are divorced or separated, your non-custodial parent needs to complete the CSS Non-custodial Parents Statement at ncprofile.collegeboard.com.
Step 2 – Complete FAFSA, listing both campuses
File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. The federal code for Annapolis is 002092 and Santa Fe is 002093. Make sure to list both campus codes. You can file a renewal FAFSA if you have your federal PIN. You can retrieve your PIN online at http://www.pin.ed.gov/.
Step 3 – Give supporting documentation to the Financial Aid Office of your current campus
By April 1, send signed copies of parents’ and students’ 2010 Federal Income Tax Returns (all pages and schedules) and W-2 forms to the Financial Aid Office. In the case of divorced or separated parents, also send the non-custodial parents’ federal tax return and W-2. Contact the Financial Aid Office if you have any extenuating circumstances and cannot meet this deadline.
Parents who are business or farm owners must also submit copies of the appropriate business tax returns:
- Partnerships and LLCs – IRS Form 1065 and K-1
- C-Corp – IRS Form 1120
- S-Corp – IRS Form 1120S and K-1.
Step 4 - Maryland State Grants can be used on both campuses
Maryland Residents: The FAFSA must be submitted prior to March 1. Maryland has very strict deadlines, and failure to meet their deadline will result in a loss of state grant assistance. This will not be made up with institutional grant money.
