Financial Aid
International Students
Financial aid for attending St. John’s College is available for international students. Financial aid packages for international students may include grants, loans, and campus employment up to 60% of the cost of attendance. Additional funding is available for students from United World College schools. In addition, each campus awards one full need aid package each year.
Students are also eligible to apply for summer employment at St. John's, but the availability of jobs cannot be guaranteed. Students interested in work must complete the campus employment application from their campus. If attending the Annapolis campus, please see the Forms and Resources page to download a copy. If attending Santa Fe, please contact the Financial Aid Office.
In order to apply for financial aid, please complete the CSS Profile online at profileonline.collegeboard.com. The CSS Profile is available online beginning October 1. You will be asked questions about your finances during your country's most recent tax year, previous tax year, and upcoming tax year. If your country's tax year follows the calendar year, those would be, respectively, 2012, 2011, and 2013. If your country's tax year does not follow the calendar year you should determine your country's most recent tax year by identifying the last tax year that ended or will end before April 1, 2013. From there you can determine your previous and upcoming tax years.
In addition to the online CSS Profile, you will need to complete the Certification of Finances form and return it to the Financial Aid Office.
Please complete the CSS Profile application as soon as possible. You do not need to wait until you have been admitted to the college to complete the application. If you are unable to complete the Profile online, please contact the Financial Aid Office for further instructions. Offers of financial aid will be made once the student has been admitted to the college.
