With a sound evolving from her early training in the classical world, Faith Amour has done studio work and also composed and performed with industry innovators across North America. The band includes John Rangel, piano, Justin Bransford, bass, John Trentacosta, drums, and Fred Simpson, percussion. |

Listen to an mp3 of "My Romance" Founded some twenty years ago to keep alive the tradition of jazz composed for large ensembles, the Santa Fe Great Big Jazz Band performs the classics of Count Basie, Woody Herman, Glenn Miller, Stan Kenton, Buddy Rich, and others as well as newer charts by fine contemporary composers and arrangers such as Quincy Jones, Tom Kubis, and Gordon Goodwin. Local jazz singer Joan Kessler lends her magic to the big sound. |

Headlining this date are jazz trumpeter J Q Whitcomb, whose sound evokes adventures and romances, and saxophonist Brian Wingard, who Bobby Shew credits with having “great chops, ideas, and such positive energy.” They are backed up by Chris Ishee on piano, Colin Deuble on bass, and John Trentacosta on drums. |

Listen to an mp3 of "It's All Right With Me" Jazz pianist, composer, and vocalist John Proulx headlines an evening of music that pays homage to Rat Pack crooners Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. A denizen of Los Angeles, Proulx studied at Roosevelt University’s Chicago School of Performing Arts. With a voice that recalls the smooth, mellow sounds of a young Chet Baker, Proulx is joined by the drummer Cal Haines, guitarist Michael Anthony, and bassist Jon Gagan. |

Seamlessly combining Latin rhythms with the elements of flamenco, jazz, salsa, and rock, the hugely popular Nosotros, originally based in Las Cruces, has made the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area home since 2001. This Latin music powerhouse features Manuel Ramirez-Ruiz, saxophone; Randy Sanchez, guitar and Cuban tres; Shane Derk, guitar and guitar synthesizer; Dennis Jasso, drums; Felipe Ruibal, vocals; Carlos Fontana, vocals; Gil Uribe, bass, "Chachi" Romero, congas; and Dave Weeks, trumpet. |
