Are there invitations for commencement?
Beginning in early April, all students who are preparing to graduate may obtain up to ten commencement
invitations from the President’s Office. If needed, a limited number of additional invitations may be obtained
from the President’s Office after April 15.
May family and friends attend the President's reception on Friday?
Family members and friends attending commencement activities are invited to join graduates attending the
reception. Following the reception, you may wish to make dinner reservations at one of Santa Fe’s many abundant
restaurants.
What is appropriate dress for commencement ceremonies?
Because of the intensity of the sun and the high altitude, we suggest that you wear sunscreen and/or sun

possibility as well.
Is there a reception following the commencement ceremony?
A complimentary buffet lunch is served in the Peterson Student Center following the ceremony.
How do I get photos of the ceremony?
A photo order form is included in this packet. Individual photos are taken of students as they receive their
diploma and may be ordered after graduation by contacting the photographer directly, using the number on
the photo order form. It takes approximately six weeks to process the commencement photos.
Where do we park?
Parking is restricted to one side of Camino Cruz Blanca and the Visitors parking lot on the St. John’s campus.
Handicap parking is available.
Where may we purchase College memorabilia?
You will be able to make purchases at the campus bookstore (on the first floor of Peterson Student Center)
one hour before commencement and following the ceremony.
