Commencement Weekend 2013
May 17 & 18, 2013

Sixty-five undergraduates and twenty-four graduate students will take part in the commencement ceremony, held on campus on the Weigle Placita.

The greatest concentration of seniors hails from Texas (11), followed by California (8), and New Mexico (6). Several foreign countries are also represented among the graduates—Montenegro, Zimbabwe, Mexico, Pakistan, Singapore, and the Czech Republic. The graduates from the Graduate Institute came from as close as Santa Fe and other parts of the Southwest and as far away as Xiangyang, China.

The commencement speaker is Jill Cooper Udall. Ms. Udall is a lawyer, long-time arts advocate, and former Officer of Cultural Affairs for the State of New Mexico. She is currently a consultant for the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of the American Indian. Ms. Udall sits on the Board of Visitors and Governors for St. John's College and on the boards of directors for Ford's Theatre, Santa Fe Conservation Trust, and the Meridian International Center.
