The Invisible Forces of Nature
Presented by The Forum for Science & Art
Opening Reception: Friday, May 2 from 5-8 p.m.
Art Gallery, Peterson Student Center, 2nd Floor
Forces in nature impact our very existence from moment to moment, yet most are beyond our awareness. Thermal dynamics, gravity, electromagnetism, vibration, growth, love and emotions are some of the unseen forces that will be represented in our upcoming show. The Master Designer, Nature, is our mentor and inspiration. Our challenge as artists is to make the invisible visible, the intangible tangible through the rigors of the creative process. It is our intention to have our creative endeavors be a conduit for the beauty, power and mystery of Natures' invisible forces.
The Forum for Science and Art brings artists and scientists together for intellectual and artistic stimulation. Members share their discoveries and creations through formal and informal presentations. Everyone is welcome; the curious, the interested, and the passionate!
The exhibit continues through Sunday, May 25.
Gallery Hours: Friday and Saturday 5-8 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m. and by appointment; call 505-984-6099.
