St. John's College Search and Rescue
St. John’s College is proud to have an alliance with Atalaya Search and Rescue. ASAR is a Mountain Rescue Association certified search and rescue team which has been operating out of Santa Fe, NM since 2002. They specialize in technical rescue and are qualified in all aspects of wilderness search and rescue including ground search and evacuation, winter operations and high angle rescue. The meetings are held at the SAC every other Wednesday evening at 6:30pm. Students are welcome to join Atalaya SAR with the support of the Student Activities Organization.
