Alumni
Volunteer
At St. John's there are many opportunities for Alumni to give back to the college by participating in a variety of organizations that help further the mission of the college. The following are some of the many options open to Alumni:
- The Alumni Association:
Follow the link above to the Alumni Association section of this website for more information.
- Philanthropia:
Philanthropia is an organization of alumni dedicated to achieving maximum fundraising contributions among the alumni of St. John’s College.
- Career Services Networking:
Volunteers wishing to help in Career Services should contact Margaret E. Odell in Santa Fe or Shahrzad Arasteh in Annapolis.
- The Virgil Initiative:
Involves alumni as mentors working with juniors and seniors. The initiative is designed to help participating students with the transition into the working world. Approximately 28 students from both Annapolis and Santa Fe volunteered to participate in the pilot project. Now in its second year the program has been well received by both alumni mentors and students. Contact alumni@sjcsf.edu for more information.
- Alumni Admissions Representatives:
Mentor and guide prospective students. Being an Admissions Representative allows Alumni to give incoming students a helping hand adjusting to the life of a Johnnie. Contact alumni@sjcsf.edu for more information.
