We have no preference, and the Admissions Committee gives equal consideration to applications submitted in any of these ways.
The Commmon Application Online for 2011 will no longer be available after July 14, 2011. All online Applications, Supplements, and School Forms must be submitted by that date. The 2012 Commmon Application will be available beginning August 1, 2011. In the meantime, you can still begin or complete your 2011 St. John's application by using the links above to print and submit paper forms to us. Call Santa Fe at 800.331.5232 or Annapolis at 800.727.9238 if you have questions.
If you choose to use the St. John’s paper application, you need to respond to the three required essay prompts on the application form, and you may also respond to the fourth (optional) prompt if you wish. If you choose to use the Common Application, online or on paper, you will need to file the St. John’s College Supplement as well. In this case, you need to respond to any one of the essay prompts on the Common Application itself and also to the first two prompts on the supplement; you may also respond to the third (optional) prompt on the supplement if you wish. The application procedure is the same for first-time college applicants and for transfer applicants. The Common Application Online is available August 1st; the paper version of the Common Application and the St. John’s College Application for Admission may be submitted at any time.
Although applications must be initiated and completed at one campus or the other, admission to either campus constitutes admission to the college as a whole. Students should submit their application materials to the Admissions Office on the campus they prefer to attend. Approved applicants may change their campus preference up until they submit an enrollment deposit.
