Welcome to the Meem Library

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is happy to facilitate your studies in a variety ways. We maintain a comfortable, quiet study space, provide access to program readings and online databases, and offer interlibrary loan services. Feel free to stop by the circulation desk to request a tour or brief orientation to our services. In addition to supporting the academic life of the college, we also offer other resources that nurture your interests beyond the classroom, including an eclectic DVD collection and a range of print journals, as well as hands-on activities covering book repair and book-making.

Whenever you are in the library, don’t forget to visit our much beloved library dog, Seymour, an assistance dog from the non-profit organization Assistance Dogs of the West, who belongs to the library director, Jennifer Sprague. He loves to cuddle next to people while they read.

Meem Library is open to the public. For information about services available to community borrowers and alumni, please visit our Community Lending page.

The book collection of some 65,000 volumes is especially rich in ancient and modern classics of European literature, philosophy, science, and mathematics both in the original language and in translation.
