Academic Program
The undergraduate program at St. John's College is an all-required course of study based on the great books of the Western tradition. The curriculum is interdisciplinary and includes:
- Four years of seminar
- Four years of language
- Four years of math
- Three years of laboratory science
- Two years of music
Seminar readings include works of literature, philosophy, theology, political science, and history. The course of study is roughly chronological, beginning with the Greeks in freshman year and continuing to the 20th century in senior year.
