Front Entrance Sign and Alumni Memorial (1920)
Welcome to St. John's College! Step off the streets of historic Annapolis and onto our beautiful campus. Pictured are the front campus sign and the Alumni Memorial. Erected in 1920, the memorial honors the 452 St. John's students who served during World War One. The figure on the bronze tablet depicts the Alma Mater with drawn sword bowed in mourning over those alumni whose names are inscribed on the shield.
