Are there invitations for commencement?
Beginning in July, all students who are preparing to graduate may obtain up to ten commencement
invitations from the Graduate Institute Office. If needed, a limited number of additional invitations may be obtained.

What is appropriate dress for commencement ceremonies?
Because of the intensity of the sun and the high altitude, we suggest that you wear sunscreen and/or sun
protection. Some blankets will be provided for those who wish to sit on the grassy knoll. Water will be provided.

Is there a reception following the commencement ceremony?
A complimentary buffet lunch is served in the Peterson Student Center following the ceremony.

How do I get photos of the ceremony?
A photo order form is available here. Additional forms will be available at the ceremony. Individual photos are taken of students as they are hooded and receive their diploma and may be ordered through the mail any time before or after the event. It takes approximately four weeks to process the commencement photos.

Where do we park?
Parking is restricted to the Visitors parking lot on the St. John’s campus – the first lot to your left as you enter the main driveway of the college.   Overflow can be accommodated onto the uphill side of Camino Cruz Blanca.  Handicap parking is available; please watch for signs.

Where may we purchase College memorabilia?
You will be able to make purchases at the campus bookstore from 8:45a.m.-6 p.m. (located on the first floor of Peterson Student Center)
